Maintenance Foreman - Food Production

RPO Recruitment is currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Foreman to join our client's food production team.
As a Maintenance Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising a team of maintenance technicians and ensuring that all equipment and machinery are properly maintained to achieve optimum productivity and efficiency.
Responsibilities Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, assigning tasks and overseeing their work Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment breakdowns and production downtime Perform regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify potential issues or areas that require maintenance Coordinate maintenance schedules and activities with production and operations teams Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history Collaborate with procurement to source and purchase replacement parts and equipment as needed Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all maintenance activities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Trade qualification in a relevant field (e.g., electrical, mechanical) Proven experience as a maintenance foreman or similar role Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices and procedures Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively Basic computer skills, including proficiency in maintenance management software Experience in the food production industry is preferred Benefits Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.
