Maintenance Foreman - Cape Town

Hotel in Cape Town is looking for a Maintenance Foreman that will be responsible for identifying problems and necessary maintenance, ensuring that all building systems, equipment and facilities are in working good condition. This person must ensure deadlines are met with accuracy and be able to assigned tasks accordingly.
Responsibilities:
Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
Prepare daily, weekly maintenance schedules and allocate work
Supervise and train maintenance technicians
Supervise tradesmen during installations, repairs or maintenance (electricians, plumbers etc.)
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, ventilation etc.)
Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance
Purchase and monitor inventory of materials and equipment
Participate in coordination of projects (e.g., renovations)
Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations
Requirements:
Grade 12
Preferably 3-4 years previous experience as a Foreman / Supervisor
Strong technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
Understanding of budgeting and performance management
Ability to maintain a professional working relationship with all departments
Must be well-presented & enthusiastic.
