Maintenance Engineer

Overview A leading sawmill company situated in the Eastern Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

Processing raw materials and reaching production targets on an ongoing basis. Implementing existing work practices. Checking that current procedures are being implemented correctly. Closely monitoring production processes. Cost-effectively resolving issues that detract from reaching or exceeding production targets. Modifying machinery or working methods. Key Requirements: Relevant Degree/Diploma in engineering or maintenance. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position.
