Maintenance Assistant - Life Queenstown Private HospitalA vacancy exists for a Maintenance Assistant at Life Queenstown Private Hospital, reporting to the Engineering Manager, Stanley Zisile. This position is responsible for ensuring continuous availability of maintenance services required for the Hospital Infrastructure.

Position: Maintenance Assistant
Critical Outputs: Responsible for all maintenance-related issues on a day-to-day basis;Responsible for all general maintenance enquiries relating to Doctors and Nursing staff;Execute repairs/tasks as per job card and instructions or ad hoc requests from line manager;Provide line managers with relevant information and feedback as required;Supervise the daily inspection of the hospital engineering's equipment e.g., generators, medical gas alarm systems, recording of medical gases, AHUs;Supervise the daily inspection of vacuum pumps, medical air compressors, plumbing, and general maintenance;Management of onsite contractors;Follow company guidelines regarding the SAP system;Complete daily job cards and adhere to required administration processes.Requirements: Grade 12 National Senior Certificate
Minimum N4 or equivalent qualification in electrical
3 years' experience in maintenance, electrical, fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, gas systems, plumbing, painting, hospital beds, door locks, carpentry.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to complete tasks timeously and accurately and be able to work under pressure.
Eager to learn new systems and to accept work challenges.
Adhere to NOSA and OHSA acts.
Be in possession of a valid driver's license.
Be able to perform standby duties.
