Requirements and Qualifications:Matric / Grade 12 certificate or equivalent.Strong ability to plan and prioritize daily maintenance tasks effectively.Capability to identify, source, and obtain the necessary tools, parts, and materials for repairs and maintenance tasks.Familiarity with various maintenance tools and techniques for painting, plumbing, and minor repairs.Proven experience in performing a range of maintenance duties, including wall repairs, plumbing, and roofing.Must be physically fit to perform manual tasks and work in various conditions both indoors and outdoors.Duties and Responsibilities:Paint Maintenance: Maintain all painted demarcations on site and repaint walls (interior and exterior), fences, and gates as needed.Roof and Gutter Repairs: Conduct minor repairs on roofs and gutters to prevent leaks.Tile Repairs: Replace or repair damaged floor and wall tiles throughout the site.Wall and Plaster Repairs: Fix damaged walls and correct plaster defects to maintain structural integrity.Plumbing Maintenance: Perform maintenance and repairs on plumbing fixtures such as toilets, basins, and showers.Water Leak Repairs: Identify and fix minor water leaks through regular inspections and planned maintenance.Window Repairs: Replace broken windows and apply or repair window putty as required.Equipment Lubrication: Assist the engineering team with lubricating plant equipment according to the maintenance schedule.Effluent Treatment Plant Support: Provide occasional support with maintenance tasks in the effluent treatment plant.Blade Grinding Assistance: Assist with blade sharpening tasks and ensure burs are removed before the blades are returned to production.Tool Maintenance: Maintain and lubricate all tools required for daily tasks to ensure their longevity and performance.Good Housekeeping: Maintain high standards of housekeeping to promote a safe and organized working environment.How to Apply:
