Maintenance And Facilities Supervisor

West Coast Personnel, Cape Town, South Africa We are looking for a proactive Maintenance and Facilities Supervisor to manage and maintain our facilities. This role includes overseeing maintenance tasks, managing cleaning and security staff, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.Qualifications• Knowledge of building systems and safety regulations.• Strong organizational and communication skills.• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience• Experience in facilities management or a related role.Responsibilities• Warranty Claims: Handle warranty claims and Certificates of Compliance (COCs).• Staff Management: Facilitate cleaning and security staff operations.• Supplies: Order and manage cleaning and hygiene supplies.• Maintenance Roster: Keep track of service and maintenance needs (electrical work, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, sprinklers).• Fire Safety: Manage and understand fire suppression system maintenance.• Facilities Coordination: Oversee furniture movement and other facilities tasks.Skills• Reporting: Compile reports on maintenance and facilities duties.• Building Maintenance: Perform and oversee building maintenance.• Legal Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations.• Pest Control: Organize pest control and fumigation services.
