We are seeking a detailoriented and organized Mail & Parcel Processing Clerk to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing and processing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Tasks Key Responsibilities: Sort process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
Prepare packages for shipping including labeling weighing and documenting.
Ensure proper handling and storage of mail and parcels to prevent damage or loss.
Maintain accurate records of mail and parcel movements and deliveries.
Coordinate with courier services and postal providers for timely dispatch and delivery.
Assist with tracking and resolving delivery issues or discrepancies.
Perform routine checks and maintenance on mail and parcel processing equipment.
Support administrative tasks related to mail and parcel management as needed.
Requirements Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Previous experience in mail and parcel processing or a similar role is advantageous but not required.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to handle physical tasks including lifting and moving packages.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Basic computer skills for tracking and recordkeeping.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fastpaced environment.
