The successful candidate will have a strong background in PLCs, robotics, and vision systems, with specific experience in system installation, start-up, and commissioning. This role focuses on delivering and maintaining robot vision systems at customer sites, particularly in the automotive industry. The role also includes technical sales support and ensuring synergy between service operations and sales teams.
Duties and Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement machine vision solutions, ensuring seamless integration with PLCs and robotic systems. Lead the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of vision systems in customer facilities. Work closely with customers and internal teams to understand requirements and provide tailored solutions. Manage projects, including planning, resource allocation, and timelines, to ensure successful delivery. Conduct on-site testing and validation of systems to ensure optimal performance. Provide technical support and training to customers and internal staff. Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements in machine vision technologies. Job Requirements Degree in Machine Vision, Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering. Experience in PLCs, Robotics, and Vision systems is an essential requirement. Experience in manufacturing and automation environments, preferably in the motor vehicle industry, and experience managing projects. Proven excellence in field engineering and customer service. Technical sales ability with experience supporting sales teams in technical discussions. Software skills in MS Office, SAP, and CRM tools. Experience in AI and automation technologies is an advantage. Excellent command of English, both verbal and written. Strong knowledge of customer expectations and cross-functional team synergy. Valid driver's license and willingness to frequently travel.
