To ensure that all equipment is maintained and repaired to specifications of manufacturing.To assist electronic and electrical departments if and when requiredTo maintain safe work procedures (monthly SHE inspection).To inspect,service,repair and overhaul Machinery and ensure that machines are kept in good running conditionsUpdating the equipment register and plant/ spares information.Taking of stock of mechanical equipmentWork with precision measurements when carrying out tasksMinimum N 4 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualificationHave completed a recognized apprenticeship.Passed a trade test as Fitter and Turner/MillwrightExtensive experience in CNC Machine Maintenance.Two years or more working experience on MachineryGood Mechanical insight in the repair of machineryAbility to read and interpret technical drawings.Versatile and solid understanding of mechanical repairs, gearbox's, lathes and CNC machines- Knowledge of Machine setup (Hydraulics and Pneumatics)- Experience in handling pumps, ballscrews, gibbs, slides and cranes, and lifting tackles
