About the roleReporting to the Shift Supervisor, the successful candidate will be responsible for the daily operation of an Injection Moulding Machine.
Daily operation of the Injection Moulding Machine within set quality and recovery standardsRemove moulded parts from machines, and check to ensure that they conform to specificationsPack moulded parts into relevant packagingMove controls to set cutting specifications, to position cutting tools and workpieces in relation to each other, and to start machinesTrimming of Injection moulded partsHousekeeping around working areaReport any quality defects to the Shift SupervisorReport any problems on machines to the Shift SupervisorEnsure hopper is full at machineFrom time to time do as requested from SupervisorSafe operation of Injection moulding MachineEnsuring that machinery and moulds are effectively maintainedComplete completion of production score sheetAd hoc functions within the ambit of the job functionAbout youNational Senior Certificate / Matric / Grade 12 Certificate (Completed)Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar roleWorking experience in an Injection Moulding EnvironmentPrevious experience operating an Injection Moulding MachineProduct KnowledgeStrong sense of responsibilityEffective communication skills in English (Verbal and Written)High level of attention to detailAbility to multitaskAbility to work within a teamAbility to work shifts and overtimeGood understanding of raw materialsGood understanding of quality standardsGood understanding of health and safetyFluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop.
