Machine Operator: Greens (Golf Course Maintenance)

The Links Golf Course Maintenance department is now accepting applications for aMachine Operator: Greenssomeone who can add his / her skills to the team and that takes great pride and pleasure in caring for our golf courses.We consider the following as essential:Qualifications & Experience:Grade 10 or equivalent,Must have a valid drivers license,Experience in operating turf grass maintenance equipment/machinery will be an advantage,Must have gained at least 1 years of golf course maintenance experience.Duties & Responsibilities (areas and indicators listed are not exhaustive and may be changed / supplemented to accommodate business needs from time to time):Identifying disease on the greens, reporting it and monitoring the improvement once action is taken,Identifying heat stress on the greens, reporting it, watering the heat stress points and monitoring the improvements once action has been taken,Mowing the greens in the morning, in any weather condition, edging bunkers, cutting surrounds and removing kikuyu runners,Daily watering of the greens.Adverse working conditions:Must be prepared to work weekends & Public holidays,Must be prepared to work outside in inclement weather.If you believe you have suitable experience and qualifications, please apply online.Application Process:Application Process:Closing date:25 June 2024Where to apply:
