Senior Analytics / Machine LearningOur client in the Data & Analytics area is looking for a Machine Learning Engineer. This is a 12-month hybrid role. The role is open to all who are happy to be physically based in Cape Town.As an Analytics Engineer, you will be at the forefront of driving data-driven decision-making. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining analytical infrastructure that enables advanced data analysis and reporting capabilities.Key Responsibilities:Develop and manage robust, scalable data features, data sets, and data marts to support the analytics needs of our Strategic Initiatives products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical needs into technical solutions.Design and implement complex data manipulation to combine data from various sources.Build and maintain analytic pipeline.Stay on top of industry trends and advancements in analytics and data engineering technologies.Key Requirements:Qualification in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in data engineering, modelling, or analytics (banking, retail, telco, gaming experience ideal).Strong SQL, data manipulation, and Python skills.Strong experience with data modelling and data warehousing.Strong analytical ability with experience with analytics and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel, Quicksight, Tableau, Cubes).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
