M&A Senior Associate

This individual will play a key role in supporting mergers and acquisitions activities, from market analysis and deal sourcing to financial modeling and transaction execution.
With a strong background in statistics, engineering, or IT, the ideal candidate will bring a unique perspective to the team, aiding in data-driven decision-making and strategic growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth industry research, market assessments, and competitive analyses Support deal origination and assist in structuring, negotiating, and executing M&A transactions Develop and review financial models, including cash flow projections, valuations, and sensitivity analyses Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing financial insights to support business decisions Prepare comprehensive investment proposals, presentations, and due diligence documentation Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory developments affecting transactions Qualifications: 5-7 years of relevant experience, ideally within M&A, Corporate Finance, or Investment Banking Strong financial acumen with a demonstrated track record in financial modeling and valuation analysis If not a CA(SA), must possess a Masters Degree, FMVA, or CFA certification Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment Preferred Skills: Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and valuation methodologies Proficiency in relevant analytical tools and software Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and within a team
