KEY RESPONSIBILITIESSupervises all Waiters, Asst.
Waiters and Buffet Staff work as a team in the assigned areaEnsures that assigned station are ready on time and guest are welcome using their namesCarefully supervising the assigned section ensure guest satisfactionEffectively replace waiters if necessary, in order to maintain service standardsMaximises revenue for food and beverage productsOversees that table settings and ensures that all equipment is used correctly to avoid unnecessary damageEnsures that the assigned areas comply with sanitation procedures (USPH)Monitors the restaurants inventoryEnsures that the staff is familiar with menu content, wine list, and food and wine pairingFluent English, oral and written.
Any additional European language is considered an advantage (Italian, Portuguese, German, Spanish and French)QUALIFICATIONSPrevious ship experience is mandatoryHigh School certificate is an advantage or equivalent experience on board Cruise ShipsFull knowledge of USPH standardsPublic health knowledgeComputer literacyGood management and organisation skillsInterpersonal and communication skillsPassion about hospitality and customer service drivenSilver Service knowledge Extensive International wine knowledge International F&B standardsDOCUMENTS REQUIREDValid South African PassportPolice Clearance
