Lower Elementary Montessori Guide (6 - 9 Year Olds) (Maternity Cover Contract)

Key Responsibilities:Implement Montessori methodology to foster holistic development in learners.Support students academic, social, emotional, and physical growth.Foster a safe and engaging learning environment, tailoring your approach to each childs needs.Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of students. Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:A recognised Montessori qualification (or in progress) and/or prior Montessori experience.BEd/PGCE (or working towards a recognised teaching qualification).Current SACE registration.Experience working with children aged 6-9 years.A solid understanding of Montessori philosophy and a commitment to authentic Montessori education.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Strong initiative, self-direction, and the ability to work independently.Effective time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
