Job Responsibilities: Assess and adjust losses of complex claims such as Subsidence, Storms, etc.Manage, control, and attend to contractor audits and authorizations over-mandate.Conduct upfront assessments and handle customer complaints.Enforce correct interpretation of the Homeowners insurance policy with panel service providers and clients.Perform mentoring and coaching support for SIL, service providers, and clients on products and technical aspects.Qualifications: Education:
Diploma in Construction Technology
Degree in Building Science or Construction
Fire investigation, Kwikot Benchmark training
FAIS Compliant
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years as a Building Assessor
Minimum of 3 years' experience in the Short-Term Insurance industry
Knowledge of Homeowners policy wording interpretation
Knowledge of National Building Regulations and practical application thereof.
