Logistics & Operations Assistant

Escavox, a high-growth AgriTech company focused on helping food supply chains to deliver fresher, better produce to consumers through a combination of hardware, software and analytics, is seeking to appoint a reliable, detail-oriented and tech savvy Logistics & Operations Assistant to join their team based in Durbanville, Western Cape. This is a half-day position, from 9h00 - 14h00 daily. The role will report to the Client Services Director. Key performance areas will include: Device preparation and setup (battery level, connectivity, firmware, etc.), and resolving or reporting any malfunctions Ensure devices are ready for dispatch, packing devices according to protocols Coordinate delivery schedules to align with customer demand Organise collections and deliveries with courier companies, tracking shipments, and keeping record of locations Monitor and maintain inventory levels (devices and packaging) all other tasks related to the role. Essential qualifications, skills, and experience: Grade 12, a relevant certification or qualification will be advantageous; Proficiency in operating mobile devices and basic troubleshooting; 3-5 years experience in stock inventory management is preferred; Computer literacy (specifically Excel); Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans & English; The ability to perform light physical activity (lifting and carrying boxed devices); Valid drivers license and access to a personal vehicle (occasional travel to customer locations might be required - travel will be reimbursed); Own working devices (personal laptop and phone).
