Crema Design - Logistics Manager - Woodstock, Cape TownCrema Design is a leading furniture and lighting importer. We represent 24 luxury European brands and work closely with the architectural and design community on interior projects across South Africa and internationally. Our head office and showroom is in Woodstock, Cape Town. We require a Logistics Manager to handle the purchase of stock from suppliers, importation via sea and air and delivery to clients.You should have strong administration and creative problem-solving skills and be comfortable working in a small team doing a variety of tasks. The role is specialised - experience in logistics and shipping would be of great benefit, although somebody with the appropriate skills could be trained internally.The role includes –Dealing with all aspects of purchasing stock from our international suppliers - requesting invoices, making payments, and collecting from warehouses overseas.Overseeing the movement of stock from our suppliers overseas to our Cape Town warehouse (liaising with our shipping agents).Calculating shipping budgets and obtaining quotes to ensure that budgets are met.Working with our team to manage receipts in our Cape Town warehouse and showroom store room.Making payments to suppliers.Keeping the sales team updated with the movement of orders.Basic computer skills (Excel, Mail, Mac computer) essential, some ERP system experience helpful.Attention to detail and a systematic approach.Remuneration is between R20,000 and R30,000 depending on experience.Please submit your cover email and CV to ******
