Duties/ Responsibilities
Further develop and implement an integrated logistics management system and strategy to support the business objectiveCollaborate with Development, Maintenance and Operations teams to forecast inventory needs and plan replenishment ordersPerformance analysis of the overall budget/expenses for the logistics operation and determine the most cost-effective and efficient means of transport servicesEnsure the logistics processes are streamlinedImplement best practices for warehouse management, including organising stock, implementing FIFO system, and ensuring compliance with safety regulationsNegotiate pricing for market rates and drive improvementsNegotiate and conclude contracts for inbound and outbound logisticsEnsure efficient management, control, compliance and reporting of the function in accordance with legislation, fraud prevention, risk management principles, company strategic supplier relationships and negotiationsManage international import and export processes
Requirements
BCom Logistics/Procurement, B Industrial Eng or similar qualificationMinimum 5 years experience in a similar role including managerial experienceCompetent in Google Workspace/MS OfficeBilingual (multilingual beneficial)Quick-service restaurant (QSR) experience advantageousValid driver's licence
