The Logistics Assistant will support the logistics team in coordinating and managing the flow of goods from suppliers to customers.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills a strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
TasksKey Responsibilities: Assist in the planning and coordination of logistics activities including transportation warehousing and inventory management.Maintain accurate records of shipments delivery schedules and inventory levels.Communicate with suppliers transport companies and customers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Prepare shipping documents such as bills of lading and invoices and ensure compliance with regulations.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory effectively.Support the logistics team with data entry filing and other administrative tasks.Assist in resolving any issues related to deliveries such as delays or discrepancies.Ensure that all logistics processes adhere to company policies and safety standards.RequirementsQualifications and Experience: Previous experience as a Logistics Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.Strong organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in MS Office particularly Excel and familiarity with logistics software (e.g.
