Candidate MUST Have the following: Education/Requirements:Grade 12 (or equivalent) with English fluency (Written and spoken)Degree/Higher Diploma in Systems/Industrial Engineering/Similar3 years industry or working experience.Understanding of the Vehicle supply chain environment advantageousMicrosoft Project knowledge and experienceMS Office spreadsheets and graphics strong excel skills.No criminal recordDuties and Key Responsibilities:Determining specifications from customers and organization and making proposals for improvement;Updating and reporting of all Compound layout & process changesTrack and ensure that the applicable Key Performance Indicator targets are achieved;Manage implementation of clients tender outcomes in clients logistics environment;Conduct quarterly performance reviews of clients appointed suppliers and service providers;Provide support on clients logistics budgeting process;Calculate and supply accurate costings for all elements of the supply chain for normal and ad-hoc requests;Seek innovative cost saving solutions to meet annual cost reduction targets and recommend to client;Support VE pack creation and managementSupport clients regional logistics projects;Provide support on operational supply chain activities;Set up a project schedule, staff with appropriate SMEs and report to Management on progressIdentify, implement, and manage new projects, subject to the prior written approval of clients;Design and implement, subject to clients prior written approval, new supply chain processes;Re-engineer clients supply chain flows to improve time, cost, and quality;Ensure that all office equipment is properly maintained, and office area is clean and presentable; andPerform any other lawful instructions within the Companys scope of work as and when required.Step up to assist management in dealing with ad-hoc Logistics challengesCompetenciesDependability, Time and AttendanceCommunication & conflict resolution skillsInitiative and Attitude towards workTeamwork & people management skillsJudgement and Decision making
