Logistics Coordinator

Southern Fruit Growers, with their head office in Somerset West, is seeking a detail-oriented and systematic Logistics Coordinator, with proven experience in logistics systems and procedures, to join their team.The incumbent will report directly to the Logistics Manager. Duties will include:Provide inputs to pre-season planningAction stock allocations and follow up on any discrepanciesCreate loading instructions and book containersLiaise with third parties to coordinate loading instructions and update loading statusFinalise shipment details on ERP systemGenerate and distribute documentation (addendums/ packing lists/ intakes)Schedule transportHandle client queries as requiredSend shipment reportsSupport the claims processAll other tasks related to the role.Essential qualifications, skills and experience:Relevant tertiary qualification in logistics;3-5 years' experience in a similar role, specifically in the fruit export industry;Excellent computer literacy (specifically MS Excel);Fully bilingual (Afrikaans and English);Valid driver's license.Please apply online at www.m3online.co.za before 09:00 on 16 September 2024.For general enquiries, contact our team at M3 Human Capital Management on XXX-XXXX.Please note that only shortlisted candidates are contacted.
