Job Purpose
The purpose of a Logistics Coordinator is to coordinate day-to-day operations and maintain compliance with the dispatch areas.
Job Objectives and Functions
Frontline Collections
Order dispatching to clients.
Managing order escalations.
Provide in-person customer service when required.
Delivery Dispatch
Dispatching orders to 3PL.
Follow up with 3PL to determine accurate ETA.
Resolve all 3PL exceptions.
Managing delivery escalations.
Prepare and manage PCP (pack, container, picking), open work, PND (pick and drop location), invoice, bad address, and exceptions reports.
Managing and execution of import/export documents and requirements.
Maintain relationship with third party logistics partner and clients.
Cancellation and Stock Control
Monitoring and moving of cancelled orders in logistics location.
Daily spot checks.
Monthly count and reconciliation of orders in locations.
Conduct RCA (root cause analysis) of missing or displaced stock.
Customer Service
Assist in the management of customer service in logistics.
Resolve customer queries.
Project Planning
Plan and coordinate assigned forward logistics projects.
Complete and file all required documents.
Ship and track final products to the clients' requirements.
People Management
Schedule logistics team.
Route Planning
Confirmation of next-day shipments.
Plan optimised route for delivery of shipments.
Prepare delivery notes.
Assign deliveries to Barron driver.
Manage delivery exceptions.
Health and Safety
Responsible for ensuring that health and safety policies are adhered to.
Housekeeping
Organize and file department documents.
Accountable for practicing basic housekeeping principles to ensure that workstations are tidy.
