Our client based in Aspen South of Johannesburg is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join them.
Key requirements Proven experience in relevant roleExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent knowledge of office, organizational skills and office management softwareInventory control and analyzing informationRelevant qualificationsKey responsibilities Facilitate delivery of fuel from one destination to anotherArrange transportation, schedule staff and orchestrate deliveries to meet customer demand with little to no delayCoordinate delivery and provide ETA'sPrepare load schedule dailyTake steps to avoid quality control issuesManage activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are metContinually review costs, transportation rates, to keep costs down where possible Streamline transportation processesProvide admin support to ensure efficient operation of officeMaintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders for suppliesEnsure operation of equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories and evaluating new equipment and techniques
