An exciting opportunity exists for a Logistics Coordinator at NATIONAL BRANDS LIMITED Isando, Coffee and Creamer. The successful incumbent will be the link between the Production- and Stores teams, and would perform a variety of functions within the logistics space.

Job Specification: Key Performance Areas: Work with stores team supervisors to ensure sufficient material availabilityEnsure live recording of incoming material and issues, transfers and returnsEnsure adherence to SOP's for effective storage control (including review and update of existing SOP's)Manage stock accuracy through daily cycle countsStock count report and variance analysisMonthly Stock count report and age analysis reportImplement and maintain proper stock rotationAllergen management and control in storageMinimize stock write-offs and obtain approval for obsolete itemsEnsure clear and effective communication to buyers on materialsIdentify training requirements within the storesFrequently analyse capacity constraints of all stores operationsEstablish a firm interface between stores and processing/productionAttend and report back on material constraints at the daily MDWT Level 2 meetingFocus attention on potential bottlenecks in stores to ensure optimum space efficiencyForklifts and Forklift driver managementEnsure that health and safety policies and procedures are adhered toManagement of timesheets, absenteeism and temp labor requirementsSubmit weekly summary to the Logistics manager of damages in storesAttendance of weekly production planning meetings to arrange labour requirements accordinglyMinimum Requirements: Experience: At least 3 years experience in a Factory Logistics Coordinator or Distribution Center Supervisor role, specifically gained within a manufacturing or FMCG environment;REQUIRED TO WORK SHIFTSQualifications: A completed tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Warehousing requiredAdditional Requirements: SAP experience essentialProficient in MS Office (especially Excel)Proven experience of supervising people and performanceExposure to Industrial Relations (managing poor performance, disciplinary hearings)Knowledge of Inventory Management Processes and SystemsCompetencies: Delivering Results and Meeting Customer ExpectationsPlanning and OrganisingAdapting and Responding to ChangeCoping With Pressures and SetbacksRelating and Networking
