Introduction NOVO Energy is looking for an Assistant Logistics Coordinator to join their team at their Compression station based in Highveld Industrial Park, Emalahleni, Mpumalanga.
Duties & Responsibilities Coordinating the delivery of gas to customers in line with their consumption profiles.
Coordinating the filling of trailers based on the delivery schedules and customers' consumption profiles.
Reporting and coordinating any constraints preventing the logistics team from fulfilling their obligations.
Ensuring that all customer complaints, issues, and queries are directed to the relevant departments and resolved timeously.
Stock monitoring and tracking.
Ensure vehicles are available and correctly allocated to Drivers.
Determining production transportation priorities and requirements.
Ensure vehicles are carrying correct hazchem notices and tremcards for the type of goods being transported.
Ensure road traffic regulations are adhered to.
Produce Logistics-related reports and documents.
Assist the Logistics Coordinator with other logistics matters.
Desired Experience & Qualification Matric.
Minimum 5 years' experience within a logistics/supply chain environment.
Have a valid driver's license and willingness to travel to sites.
Any certification or tertiary qualifications in logistics or supply chain management will be beneficial.
Trustworthy.
Experience in the gas industry will be beneficial.
Task-oriented.
Skills Pro-active and quick learner.
Flexible and adaptable in relation to duties and working hours/Willingness to travel to sites.
Systematic and organized.
Inquisitive and problem solver.
Time management and deadline driven.
Intermediate computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
