A rapidly expanding transport and logistics brokering service based in Bellville, Cape Town is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator with solid experience in Container Transport to join their growing team.
Responsibilities Receive and process orders (ANF's).Monitor and follow up on Navis updates.Coordinate with clearing agents to assign transporters on Navis.Coordinate with clearing agents to obtain turn-in addresses.Track stacks and last free days on Navis.Monitor vessel updates from TPT.Monitor and address customs-stopped containers.Coordinate with clearing agents for customs release documents (DRO).Coordinate with storage depots for storage and handling.Coordinate with depots for bookings of LCL cargo.Update tracking and dates on system.Ensure correct turn-in of empty containers to the appropriate depot.Requirements The incumbent need to have at least 2 years' extensive experience in container transport operations.Clearing and forwarding experience will be advantageous.Position will be based in Cape Town. Salary: R25,000 to R35,000 per month, negotiable and based on experience.
