Key Responsibilities:Management of Fleet Management System Statistics:Draw, analyze, and interpret fleet management reports, presenting findings to the Operations Manager.Key areas of reporting include:Driver debriefs (completed, pending, overdue)Pre-trip inspections (completed, pending, overdue)Load/order status on the system (open, closed, missed, free)Driver attendance, hours, and kilometer logs (up-to-date and completed)Load turnaround times monitoringStatus of PODs (received, outstanding)Fleet Control/Management of Subcontractor Loads:Manage and control subcontractor loads by:Capturing and updating planned loads in the Fleet Management SystemsEnsuring subcontractors/drivers receive and understand their loading instructions, including any changesMonitoring the pickup and delivery of planned and scheduled loads, updating stakeholders on progress and delaysEnsuring all PODs and related documentation are received on time and meet client specificationsLiaising with subcontractors and clients on progress, changes, and resolving issuesRequirements and Qualifications:Grade 12 or equivalent (required)Qualification in Fleet Management and Logistics (advantageous)2 to 4 years of proven experience as a logistics/fleet controllerExperience managing a small fleetExperience dealing with subcontractors/clientsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectivelyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAdaptability and willingness to learn and grow in the roleSkills Required:Analytical skillsAttention to detailProblem-solvingProficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong communicationIntegrityAbility to Commute:Drivers license with own reliable transportLiving within the Pretoria North Region or willing to relocate before commencingIf you are a detail-oriented, analytical individual with experience in fleet and logistics management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
