Logistics ControllerReference: JHB001041-RH-2My client in the Chemicals industry is looking for an experienced Logistics Controller to join their team.Duties & ResponsibilitiesYou'll be at the heart of our supply operation, ensuring seamless movement of goods and services from procurement to end market.Requirements:BCom Logistics or equivalent qualificationMinimum 5 years' experience in logistics, with proven controller/planner experienceStrong knowledge of supply chain principles, global logistics, customs, INCO terms, and international shipping standards and inventory management principlesExperience in warehouse operations preferredResponsibilities include:Coordinating, monitoring, and reporting supply operations.Engaging with suppliers and logistics service providers to optimize services and manage risks.Overseeing implementation of logistics support systems and maintaining customer relations.Advising on fleet acquisition and managing it cost-effectively.Analyzing distribution processes, preparing logistics reports, and assisting in costings for business opportunities.Ensuring legal compliance and adherence to safety standards.Package & RemunerationR 35 000 - R 40 000 - Monthly
