The purpose of the Logistics Controller is to effectively and successfully assist in managing the Operations, ensuring the Warehouse, Fleet and relative Administration is done effectively and efficiently Assist with offloading, checking and identifying of damaged cartons. Resealing them and photographing where necessary Ensure maximum customer satisfaction through fast, friendly and effective customer service when required To nurture, guide and assist all employees where required, in order to maximize productivity, and establish a culture that inspires employees to give of their best at all times Ensure all deliveries that require a booking is done and the relative information is captured and reflects on the notice board Ensure you capture the diesel daily onto the Diesel spreadsheet, ensuring there are no problems or irregularities. If such problems or irregularities do exist report immediately to the Branch Manager and General Manager Ensure all stock received from the suppliers is in good condition, packed correctly for Warehousing and is accompanied by the correct documentation. If the receiver reports any Discrepancies (E.g. damages, Shortages or Extras) ensure that this is recorded and reported to the Branch Manager and Customer. Knowledge: Knowledge of the transport industry. Knowledge of Company standards and procedures, processes and systems.
