The purpose of the Logistics Controller is to effectively assist in managing Operations, ensuring the Warehouse, Fleet, and relative Administration are done efficiently.
Responsibilities include:
Assist with offloading, checking, and identifying damaged cartons, resealing them and photographing where necessary.
Ensure maximum customer satisfaction through fast, friendly, and effective customer service when required.
Nurture, guide, and assist all employees to maximize productivity and establish a culture that inspires employees to give their best at all times.
Ensure all deliveries that require a booking are done and the relative information is captured and displayed on the notice board.
Capture the diesel daily onto the Diesel spreadsheet, ensuring there are no problems or irregularities. Report any issues immediately to the Branch Manager and General Manager.
Ensure all stock received from suppliers is in good condition, packed correctly for Warehousing, and accompanied by the correct documentation. Record and report any discrepancies (e.g., damages, shortages, or extras) to the Branch Manager and Customer.
