Responsible for supervising certain areas within the distribution centre, which includes overseeing staff, inventory, and operational & administrative systems and controls.
Requirements NQF 5 or equivalent4 years related experience (Logistics & DC)Intermediate MS Office skills and WMS and Blue Yonder experienceCode 08 Drivers licenceResponsibilities: Forecasting and planning of resources requirements (people and equipment).Forecast and planning of warehousing space allocations requirements to support DC throughput growth.Forecast and planning of Service Provider (3PL) requirement to support DC throughput growth.Initiation and execution of DC resources optimization initiative.Optimising warehousing operations (materials handling).Continuous evaluation of distribution processes and identification of opportunities for improvement.Execution of policies and standards pertaining to materials handling and ensuring compliance to safety standards.Set performance expectations, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.Maintain internal and external stakeholder relations.Responsible for relationship management with stakeholders and ensures adherence to service level agreements.Leveraging advanced system technologies to enhance the efficiency of the DC.Monitoring of system service provider support.Maintaining accurate inventory records and executing inventory control measures to minimize discrepancies and losses.Email your CV to ******
