Logistic Coordinator

Reporting to the Regional Executive, the successful applicant will effectively manage the Production, Planning, FG store and the flow of stock in and out of the store as well as managing the Distribution team to endure it runs efficiently and effectively to delight our customers.
Responsibilities will include the following: Receiving and verifying FG stock and secondary packagingEnsuring timeous and correct distribution of productsSolving problems and stock discrepancies identifiedMonitoring of stock levels and ensuring timeous supply of stock to CustomersEnsuring stock is handled correctlyMonthly stocktakingManaging of FG Stores and Distribution teamManaging the fleet (internal trucks and drivers)Planning function (inter-branch and production)  In order to be considered for this position, applicants must comply with the following: COMPETENCIESA minimum of a Matric, Supply chain or Logistics qualification advantageousMinimum of 2 years' experience in a Store's Supervisor or Management experience essentialMust have some Distribution and/or transport experience.Intermediate excelExperience on SAP or similar ERP system advantageous CHARACTERISTICSAttention to detailHands on approachGood planning and organizing skillsPassionate about excellent serviceStrong sense of urgencyAbility to make tough decisions (Edge)Ability to energise others
