Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Lodge/Hospitality Manager to join a prestigious game lodge. This exciting role involves managing all lodge operations, overseeing staff, and providing essential support to the General Manager. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team, ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a beautiful natural setting.
Requirements:
5-6 years of relevant hospitality management experience.
Strong managerial skills with a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans, with professional verbal and written communication skills.
Valid driver's license and First Aid training are advantageous.
Previous experience with PHASA and in hunting environments is a plus.
Ability to work long and irregular hours and stay on the lodge premises.
Skills:
Expertise in overseeing day-to-day lodge operations across various departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, food and beverage, and activities.
Proficiency in developing and implementing standard operating procedures.
Competence in managing budgets, evaluating quotes, and ensuring maximum security.
Strong capability in staff training, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Excellence in handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
