Luxurious Lodge in the Timbavati Reserve is recruiting a Camp Manager who is looking to grow their career with an outstanding safari company at an exclusive lodge.
This is a live-in position.Experience required:At least 2 years of relevant experience in a 5-star operationValid unendorsed SA driver's license essentialThe surrounding communitiesPANstrat Knowledge beneficialMS Office knowledge essentialExperience in the service industry especially in dealing with guests and staffManagerial experienceExperience in a lodge environmentDuties include: Prepare welcome and departure notes for guestsCheck guests in Meet all guests, check-ins, check-outs, hosting guests and site-inspectionsCheck set-ups for breakfast, lunch and dinnerMake sure the main area is always tidy and styled to the BOPsHost guests at mealtimes and check the smooth running of service from the kitchen and butlerWork closely with butlers and Lodge managers to maintain a high service standardWillingness to assist the Lodge Manager and Assistant Lodge Manager with monthly stock takes Assisting with general administrative work, including guest Bills, day sheets and gratuitiesKeep open communication with all departments and allow information to run through freelyHelp Assistant Lodge Manager with Lodge Operations when Lodge manager goes on leaveChecking Arrival Rooms and ensuring it is to standard before guests arriveAssist with the Safari Shop when requiredA person with a Positive AttitudeWillingness to learn and growOpen to feedback
