Area/ Location: Hoedspruit, LimpopoJob Description: Our client is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join their team as a Lodge Anchor. As a Lodge Anchor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an extraordinary experience during their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service and act as a point of contact for all guest-related inquiries and requestsQualifications & Requirements:The core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of them to maximize guest delightValid RSA Driver's LicenseProficient in Office Suite and EmailExceptional Guest Relations skillsAbility to manage staffUnderstanding and ability to manage the different departmentsAbility to plan ahead and problem solveFinancial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock controlExperience:Minimum 2 years experience in a Big 5 reserve and 4-star lodge necessaryResRequest experience will be beneficial Package:Salary is negotiable depending on experience and referencesAccommodationMeals while on duty21 days on 7 days off work cycle15 days annual leaveProvident FundResponsibilities:Responsibilities include but not limited to:Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodgeManaging, Overseeing Staff with the General ManagerStaff training and developmentAssisting the marketing manager to get content for social mediaHosting DutiesAllocation of Airport TransfersLittle paws programAssistance around the lodge in other departments if neededReporting to General manager, Group Operations Manager(s) and Head OfficeFinancial:Stock control and stock takesMaintain the correct allocations of expenditures Rooms Division:Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD and General ManagerEnsure the lodge maintains the required standards aestheticallyFood and Beverage and KitchenEnsure costs are maintained as per the required standardAssist with Events planning and executionAssist with menu planning and cost control Attributes:Mature and responsibleWell spoken, well-groomed and presentableStrong leadership capabilitiesPositive attitude and approach toward team workHands on approach towards the guest experienceAbility takes initiative and problem solveExcellent guest interaction skillsPassionate and pro-active towards personal growth and trainingSober Habits, NO DRUGS
