As a Lodge Anchor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an extraordinary experience during their stay. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service and act as a point of contact for all guest-related inquiries and requests Qualifications & Requirements: The core function of the lodge anchor is to host the guest and manage all aspects of them to maximize guest delight Valid RSA Driver's License Proficient in Office Suite and Email Exceptional Guest Relations skills Ability to manage staff Understanding and ability to manage the different departments Ability to plan ahead and problem solve Financial experience in budget control, stock takes and stock control Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in a Big 5 reserve and 4-star lodge necessary ResRequest experience will be beneficial Package: Salary is negotiable depending on experience and references Accommodation Meals while on duty 21 days on 7 days off work cycle 15 days annual leave Provident Fund Responsibilities: Responsibilities include but not limited to: Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge Managing, Overseeing Staff with the General Manager Staff training and development Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media Hosting Duties Allocation of Airport Transfers Little paws program Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed Reporting to General manager, Group Operations Manager(s) and Head Office Financial: Stock control and stock takes Maintain the correct allocations of expenditures Rooms Division: Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with your HOD and General Manager Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically Food and Beverage and Kitchen Ensure costs are maintained as per the required standard Assist with Events planning and execution Assist with menu planning and cost control Attributes: Mature and responsible Well spoken, well-groomed and presentable Strong leadership capabilities Positive attitude and approach toward team work Hands on approach towards the guest experience Ability takes initiative and problem solve Excellent guest interaction skills Passionate and pro-active towards personal growth and training Sober Habits, NO DRUGS
