5* Safari Lodge - Kruger National Park A well-known safari lodge in the Kruger Park Area is looking for a great all-rounder 5* Lodge Anchor to assist in the daily operations.
Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification in either Management or Hospitality (Essential) At least 4 years Hospitality experience with 2 years in a similar supervisory role at a well-known 5* safari property (Essential) Excellent understanding of all 4/5-star lodge operations - supervise all departments as needed Excellent Food and Beverage product and service knowledge - especially wine knowledge Understand and help run systems to control department budgets (Stock control, Forecasting, Cost Control) Must be computer literate (Ms Office, Excel, email, understanding of hospitality systems - POS and reservations) Excellent admin skills - organised and efficient Detail oriented and hands-on Excellent Customer Relations skills and must thrive on hosting guests - be the face of the lodge Professional, friendly and well-groomed Honest, hardworking team player who has proven leadership qualities and shows a passion for the staff and the industry. Valid Driver's Licence SA Citizens or Foreigners with VALID work permits only Key Performance Areas & Main Duties: Help manage the daily operations of the lodge Ensure all HoDs are informed daily about guest or operations requirements and that standards across all departments are adhered to Identify problem areas and introduce improvements that anticipate guest needs Be very hands-on - Keep record and oversight of FOH and F&B departments and help out all other departments as necessary Coordinating the food and beverage service on the floor and hosting guests Proactively sell and arrange activities for guests Help manage the staff discipline - set a positive example to follow Constantly analysing operations for development and growth through training and system implementation Strong support for upper management and an excellent team player Package on offer: NEG D.O.E Live in (no pets/dependents) Other company benefits Starting Date: Asap
