Locum Research Pharmacist, Western Cape

Applicants are required to meet the following criteria: Grade 12 and qualified & registered pharmacistMust have GCP experience as well as research exposureAvailable immediately and have clear criminal record and contactable referencesBased in the Western CapeThe successful applicant would be responsible for, but not limited to:Maintain Pharmacy SOPs and Establishment Plans & Research Site FilesMaintain Pharmacy technical appliances calibrate temperature monitoring devicesMaintain restricted access control to pharmacyInvestigational Product (IP) ManagementMaintain adequate stock levels of IP at the siteStore IP under correct conditions at the siteLabel IP prior to dispensingCheck prescriptions prior to randomization / dispensing IPCheck ICF correctly signed and dated prior to randomizing or dispensing IPAssign participants to IP - randomizationDispense IP as per specific protocol requirementsAdminister IP (If required)Receive and reconcile IP returnsStore IP (used and unused) on site until monitor confirms IP accountabilityDispose of used IP as per sponsor requirementsRecord ManagementMaintain IP accountability records in accordance with the standards required by the SAPC, SAHPRA and ICH-GCPMaintain prescription records against which IP is dispensedSTI and Family Planning ClinicCapture scripts and dispense medicines.Assist with the ordering of stock and preparation of statistics.Participate in monitoring visits and audits as necessaryEnsure pharmacy files are inspection readyAttend trainings and sponsor callsPerform all the applicable duties as described in Good Pharmacy PracticeSalary: R70 000 per month for the contract duration
