Locum Consultant Acute Medicine – Manchester

National Locums are working on behalf of an NHS trust based in Manchester looking for a locum Consultant in Acute Medicine.The Medicine department based within a trust in Manchester are looking for a Locum Consultant in Acute Medicine to start as soon as possible for 6 months in the first instance.Core working hours will be Monday 09:00-20:00 and Tuesday – Friday 09:00-17:00.
Bank Holidays are not required.You would be required to see Acute patients in their Medical Assessment Unit (MAU) including post-take ward round and be responsible for doing a senior ward round for a 12 bay medical escalation unit twice a week.
The escalation bay is staffed with a dedicated CT1 Monday – Friday.You must hold the following in order to be considered:GMC license to practise.NHS experience in Acute Medicine.Specialist Registration in Acute is desired.For additional information regarding this job please call Mevish Iqbal on 01908 776477.Apply for this position.
