What you'll do
This is a list of tasks that you will be responsible for doing on your days at work.
Store Opening & Closing procedures
Weekly Regional Management Meetings and Fresh Produce Market visits
Customer liaison & contribution to community projects
Management Reporting to Regional Team and Head Office
Full Management Function that includes the following: Purchasing and pricing/Reporting, Full Financial function, Full Human Resource's function, Managing of KPI's/service departments/stock levels and ordering, Managing of wastage and shrinkage, Ensure implementation and maintenance of store processes and procedures
Requirements

Matric
Experience: Retail Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager
English proficiency
Must reside within 20km from job
Clear criminal record
Preferences
Meeting the preferences would be a plus, but if you don't, it won't stop companies from considering you.
South African candidates
Retail Management Diploma will be advantageous
At least 5 – 6 years working experience as a Store Manager in a FMCG Retail Environment
High energy levels and a passion for retail
Team player and motivator of colleagues
Available and flexible to work different shifts across trading and non-trading hours
Attention to detail
Must be a strong OPERATOR and excellent TRADER
Strong planning and organisational skills
Numeric skills & a general understanding of basic financial management
Proven problem-solving techniques
Require minimum supervision
Strong communication skills
Love for managing and mentoring people
Ability to deliver according to strict deadlines
Computer literate
Entrepreneurial spirit
Strong knowledge of fruit & veg
