IT Support Generalist & Integration Specialist Location: Stellenbosch
A leading payment aggregator and provider of secure payment solutions is looking for an IT Support Generalist & Integration Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic and proactive individual who takes initiative and adopts an analytical approach to problem-solving.
The incumbent will take responsibility for supportive IT functions that impact client relationships directly and require quick turnaround times. Responsibilities may extend to involvement in multiple focus areas, including support, initiation of integrations of Billers and Payment Networks, ad hoc report generation through designed and modified SQL scripts, and monitoring transaction irregularities in the value chain from Payment Network to Biller.
Responsibilities will include: Supporting and stage monitoring of the Biller IntegrationsParticipating in various IT integration functionsAd hoc report generation using SQLMonitoring of transaction irregularities in the value chain from Retailer to BillerRisk & issue managementParticipating in continuous improvement processesAny other relevant duties related to the roleMinimum requirements: Relevant tertiary IT qualificationApproximately 3 years' experience in a similar role, including experience in SQL, IT systems monitoring, MS Office suite (specifically MS Excel), and customer supportExperience in MS Access and the Financial Services industry with a focus on the payments industry will be advantageousOwn reliable transportFluent in written and verbal communication in English and a good understanding of Afrikaans. Any additional language will be seen as beneficialStable internet connection required; fibre connection advantageous (to handle queries remotely from home, if required)
