Functieomschrijving The Linux Systems administrator is a mid-level position that focuses on the support and management of internal and client facing Linux Systems and services In this position you will be required to: Support and Maintain the Linux Server fleet footprint Optimise Linux Services and processes Support day to day Linux Services spanning 200+ servers (On premise Physical and Virtualised) Optimise Linux and relevant reporting (Customer and Internal) Maintain design and support documentation Low Level Design Documentation Develop and maintain Knowledge articles Change Management Maintain systems as defined in area of responsibility and ensure availability by performing regular maintenance.
Ensure that all changes are managed and communicated effectively from initiation to resolution.
Project resource Assigned as a technical resource as needed for Linux support.
Incident and Problem management Ensure all incident and support requests are addressed within the set SLA and OLA levels Contribute on root cause analysis and drive post-mortem activities.
