Job Title: Supply Chain DirectorOne of our prestigious clients, a leading organization in the oil and gas industry based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Supply Chain Director.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement Supply Chain strategy and verify procedural compliance to company policies and procedures.Support Supply Chain activities, ensuring that the people, structure, and resources are adequate to support business needs.Establish department strategic goals and objectives while monitoring KPI performance to drive process improvements and best-in-class Supply Chain performance in all areas.Interact with all departments to provide Supply Chain support and ensure awareness and compliance with Supply Chain procedures.Responsible for the Training and Development of Supply Chain personnel.Prepare and manage departmental budgets, including central warehouse and facilities.Support local content initiatives in alignment with regional and national goals.Negotiate, implement, and audit major contracts with vendors ensuring full compliance with laws and company requirements.Oversee supplier relationship engagement models, monitor supplier/category performance, and engage with suppliers to improve performance.Direct strategic sourcing functions through strategy, resource optimization, profitability, and KPIs resulting in maximized customer satisfaction.Manage tactical procurement activities for all goods and services, inclusive of capital and MRO items.Ensure procurement best practices are adopted, involving Procurement Personnel in commercial negotiations to secure the best quality, value, and delivery at the lowest cost.Manage logistical plans and activities to ensure continuous supply of equipment/spares to rigs across the fleet cost-effectively.Provide leadership to resolve complex customs issues while ensuring compliant activities to minimize risks.Develop and lead Inventory Management Strategy to optimize inventory levels and lower working capital costs.Ensure all inventories at onshore and offshore facilities are stored as per company standards.Oversee the management of all offshore and onshore warehouses and yards.Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures in facilities, warehouses, and yards, tracking compliance reporting.Oversee receipt, sale, and disposal of assets, equipment, and inventory as per company procedures.Lead, develop, and manage business processes for the ERP system to support Supply Chain.Provide functional guidance and training on using ERP and related systems for Supply Chain Management.Develop strategic procedures and programs for corporate travel while overseeing travel arrangements (air, lodgings, etc.) and operations.Manage relationships with travel agencies and vendors, including negotiating contracts or rates.Oversee overall operations of facilities, including site support, layout planning, cleaning, and catering.Manage the company rental vehicle fleet with vendors.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field in Supply Chain Management.Required SkillsProficiency in all aspects of Supply Chain Management, including Global Sourcing and Procurement (Capex, MRO), Customs, Logistics, Inventory, Onshore and Offshore Warehousing, Travel, and Facilities Management.Vision and interpersonal skills to drive Supply Chain performance and excellence.Ability to manage senior-level professionals to perform complex responsibilities requiring judgment, commitment, and initiative.
