Position Overview: We are seeking a Linen Warehouse Manager to lead and inspire our team. As a Warehouse Manager at Propr, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Linen Warehouse. Your primary focus will be on managing our team of Linen Room Controllers, overseeing inventory, optimising processes, and ensuring effective stock management to meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What You'll Be Doing: Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff to ensure they are performing at their best. Provide guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and performance. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all Linen and Property Amenities in our warehouse. Ensure that items are tracked, cleaned, and returned to properties in a timely manner. Stock Management: Effectively manage and control stock levels, replenishment, and restocking processes to ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained. Process Optimization: Continuously assess and improve warehouse processes to maximize efficiency and minimize errors. Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance our operations. Quality Control: Uphold our commitment to excellence by ensuring that all items meet our high-quality standards. Regularly inspect inventory to guarantee its cleanliness and condition. Collaboration: Work closely with our Property Managers, Operations, Guest Experience and Housekeeping teams to coordinate the seamless flow of items to and from our properties. Effective communication and teamwork are key to success in this role. Problem Solving: Be a proactive problem solver who can think on their feet. Address any warehouse-related issues swiftly and efficiently to minimize disruptions.

Hospitality or Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is highly desirable, as it will enable you to understand and meet the unique needs of our guests. Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable using technology and are quick to adapt to new tools and systems. Clear Communication: You communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, ensuring that your messages are understood and acted upon. Thrives under pressure: You have no problem juggling many tasks, are able think quickly & prioritise what needs to be done. Hands-on Approach: You are willing to get your hands dirty, you give your team the freedom to do their jobs, but intervene when necessary. Location: Based in Cape Town.
