: TRG 2227Salary : Market related TCTC (Basic R50 000 - R65 000 kpm + Cell + Pension + Company Vehicle + Laptop) Available / NegotiableStart Date : As soon as possible / Immediate / NegotiableAn international market leader seeks to employ experienced & ECSA qualified LMIs (LIFTING MACHINE INSPECTORS) for permanent employment based in Gauteng.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Certified LMI with ECSA (Specific Scope required: Forklifts, Telehandlers, Aerial Platforms, & Lifting Tackle).Min 3-5 years experience in lifting equipment inspections and techniques.Knowledge of work at height machinery, lifting machinery & equipment.Industry specific knowledge (i.e., mining, construction, light & heavy industrial).Knowledge of Forklifts, Telehandlers, Aerial Platforms, and Lifting Tackle equipment regarding operations, functions, technical functions, parts, and tools including a comprehensive understanding of hydraulics, engine mechanics, electrical, electronics, and technical schematics.Valid Driver's License.Computer literate: MS Office.Position based in Johannesburg; local residency will be required.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Inspect and test lifting machinery at prescribed intervals.Inspect and load test lifting equipment in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.Communicate compliance and non-compliance of lifting machinery to stakeholders.Compile and maintain inspection schedules.Explain and apply engineering skills in inspecting lifting machines.Comply with relevant legislation in the workplace.Adhere to ECSA Code of Practice for Lifting Machinery Inspectors.Maintain active LMI registration with ECSA.Perform thorough inspection and load testing of equipment in a prescribed manner.Prepare accurate field inspection report documents in accordance with company report templates.Maintain effective customer relations through service quality and timeliness.Responsible for the safe keeping and maintenance of assigned vehicle & equipment.SKILLS:Administration skills.Problem-solving skills.Numerical skills.Planning and coordination skills.Technical skills.Dependability.Persistence.Time management skills.Analyzing information.Documentation skills.APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:We will ONLY consider applications from suitably experienced candidates that meet the requirements of this vacancy.
