Technical & Services - Parts and / or ServicesPosition titleLifting Machine Inspector (LMI) M/FContractContractual hoursFull-timeSummary Statement:The purpose of this position is to load test and certify material handling equipment (Forklifts) on company and customer premises in a timely and cost-effective manner so that customer and company requirements are met; maintaining vehicle records.ProfileKey Performance Areas:To perform this job successfully, the appointed individual must be able to perform each essential duty/key performance area satisfactorily. This list is not exhaustive and may be changed/supplemented to accommodate business needs:Perform accurate diagnosis/troubleshooting in the event of equipment breakdown; communicate necessary repairs to the customer and/or supervisor.Maintain vehicle maintenance and operational data/history by updating and timely communicating information that must go on record.Provide complete customer satisfaction in a polite and professional manner.Ensure proper communication between self and workshop staff (supervisor and controller).Ensure OHSACT requirements are met in all actions on company premises; maintain a safe work environment by verifying vehicle safety device operations, following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.Job locationAfrica, South AfricaLocation25b Junction Road, Tygerberg Business Park, Parow Industria, Cape Town
