Role Overview: As the Lift and Escalator Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of all lifts and escalators within our contracted sites.
You will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and ensuring that all work is completed in a timely and efficient manner while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
Responsibilities: Supervise and manage a team of lift and escalator technicians, including scheduling work assignments, providing training and guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Ensure that all lift and escalator installations, maintenance, and repairs are completed according to company standards and safety regulations.
Monitor and track the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring that they are completed within the agreed-upon timeframe and budget.
Conduct regular site inspections to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement.
Maintain accurate records of all work completed and provide regular reports to management.
Collaborate with clients and other stakeholders to address any concerns or issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to continuously improve our services.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant technical training and certifications.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the lift and escalator industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of lift and escalator systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritize tasks.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and procedures.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites.
