Wef January 2025Rondebosch Boys' High School requires the services of an experienced and self-motivated full-time School Librarian. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a passion for education, innovation, working with teachers and students, and promoting independent learning through reading and research.Requirements:Create an inviting and stimulating library environment that encourages exploration, curiosity and independent learning. Foster a warm and inclusive atmosphere where learners feel comfortable in seeking assistance, recommendations and guidance for their reading choices and needs.Stay current with emerging educational technologies and trends in library science to enhance the library's offerings and resources.Be responsible for and further sourcing of a collection of books, periodicals and digital resources that cater to the varied interests and academic needs of Rondebosch boys and staff.Experience in building, adding to, and maintaining digital catalogues.
