Leisure and Lifestyle Officer - Tennant CreekAbout the role We have a new opportunity for experienced Leisure and Lifestyle (Activities) Officer to join our Pulkapulkka Kari Flexible Aged Care facility located in Tennant Creek, NT.
This busy and rewarding role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis working from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. The Leisure and Lifestyle Officer provides essential services to our residents to maintain their engagement and quality of life in our facility. This role will see you preparing and delivering a schedule of general and cultural activities for our residents both within our facility and off-site visits.
This opportunity will suit a committed person who has care and compassion and enjoys interacting with our aged care residents. As the ideal candidate, you will have previous experience in an activity role ideally within the aged care industry. You will be pro-active, creative and enjoy working with minimal supervision.

Prior experience in an activity, support worker or similar role where you coordinated and ran activities for vulnerable people.A current NT Drivers License and ability to drive a 10-seater bus.Great time-management skills and an ability to prioritise your workload.Experience working within a busy and constantly changing environment.Presents as a caring and supportive person who enjoys working within the Aged Care industry.Commitment to working and able to complete the required delegated shifts.ARRCS Mandatory Compliance A National Police Check dated or lodged within 3 months of your commencement.NDIS Workers Screening Check or proof of lodgment.If you would like more information on this role, please refer to the attached position description or contact the Talent Acquisition team via ****** or phone 08 8982 5200.
